Adropi Secondary School Smashed Alere Secondary Schoo 3 goals to 1 in the Opening matches of the Uganda National Boys Football Tournament in Adjumani District at Paridi Stadium
The entertaining game which took place today 16th March 2026 at Paridi Stadium this afternoon resulted in to Alere Secondary School being humbled by Adropi Secondary School.
Alere got an early lead goal within 15 minutes.
The first goal of Adropi Secondary School came from Vuchiri Samuel in the mid of the 1st half when he made a clear free kick right into the back of Alere's net.
15 minutes into the 2nd half, Asante Vincent made a fantastic cross from the right wing which Kumbuka Bidal directly scored; putting Adropi Secondary School in the lead.
Later towards the end of the match, a throw inn from Idha Wilson was smartly headed in to the net of Alere Secondary School by the same Kumbuka Bidal.
This shows how competitive the tournament within the District has become since Adropi is an upcoming community School while Alere is a big Government School whose performance in the Sport arena has ever been at the top.
The players of Adropi hope to deliver their best performances to make the upcoming games entertaining and promising.
